Notes on board practice for recently funded founders.
bodbrief.com
Board Brief is a small research desk. We write short notes — usually under two hundred words — to the CEOs of companies that have recently raised, about the mechanics of running a board: what actually goes into a first board pack, how many hours a prep cycle really takes, how investor reporting settles into a rhythm, and what changes when the first independent director joins. Each note is written for one company at its own stage rather than sent to a list. If a note is useful, people reply and we send the underlying material — a board‑pack outline, an agenda structure, a reporting template. If it isn't, that is the end of it.
Reply stop to any note, or email whoever wrote to you. We remove the address the same day and do not contact it again. There is nothing to unsubscribe from beyond that — no list, no archive, no newsletter.
We only email business addresses found in public sources — company websites, funding announcements, and public professional profiles. We never buy lists and never email personal addresses. Reply to be removed.
Our notes carry no tracking pixels and no tracked links, and this page sets no cookies, loads nothing from third‑party servers, and runs no analytics or scripts of any kind. If you want to know where an address came from, or want what we hold deleted, ask and we will tell you.
